Aegis Line with Icarus Lascannon

Lots of flexibility with this army. The MOTF can either ride in the Stormraven to make it mostly unkillable (flyer plus IWND plus repairs) or he can man the Icarus against other flyer heavy armies. You've got 60 scouts spread across up to 12 combat squadded Troops choices, and the flexibility to deploy them normally, outflank them, scout them, redeploy via scout, or even deep strike them via either the Stormraven or LSS. Three Ironclad dreads to come down in your opponent's backfield, two of them first turn to give your opponent something to deal with immediately. You could also choose to drop an empty pod and bring the third Ironclad in on the Stormraven.

The Iron Hands chapter tactics will give both your scouts and vehicles extra survivability. Seems like a real Swiss Army knife of armies. Comments and criticism are welcome, this is very much a concept army, not something I have put together in real life (yet).

I love scouts and I love this army. Pure scout armies were fun last edition and usable. Now with all the shooting and ignore cover it is an uphill battle but I think with canny terrain placement and deployment, plus mobility from the LSS's you can beat any opponent. The dreads are an alpha strike distraction but will probably not last too long. Still love the concept and might try something similar.
