Morning Everyone,
I am playing kill team for the first time this week and looking forward to it! however, just need a bit of guidance, I have seen a lot of help for one of my armies (Chaos Marines) so I wont bother asking alot of questions for this. But my other army is Nids and I am wondering how this works in kill team, does synapse still need to play a part? Can you even use nids in kill team?
please help!

As far as I know, synapse is still something you DO have to worry about in Kill Team.
However, this can be achieved pretty well. 3 Warriors and a bunch of Devilgants are a good start. Lots of shooty and spread of synapse.
I've run Zoan with Gants as well, but gotta keep it well hidden!
Others may have better or more info.

A list that I have always been interested in running is 10 gene stealers and a zoanthrope. The zoanthrope obviously gets eternal warrior and the gene stealers get melee type upgrades. It's fast and you don't have to worry at all about synapse. With infiltrate on all your stealers it makes it very in your face. It seems fun and fluffy (ish) too.
Generally all tyranid kill teams include at least on zoanthrope or three warriors to maintain synapse

this is what i was thinking, Zoan seems the be the solid choice but I was also thinking about a stealers list, onlything that you'd loose out on is a shooting capability, but then i suppose the stealers are quite tough!!!
thanks for your help guys! as this is my first go i am starting with my chaos list as a more generic list formation

I've never actually seen a KT for tyranids using stealers in theory or practice, and there may be a reason for it. Do not utterly neglect shooting though, it is just as important if not more in this edition. That's why I recommend the zoanthrope to deal with armour and actually shoot something.

My Tyranid kill team of choice is simply 10 Genestealers and 1 Broodlord. 200 points exactly. It's fast, fluffy, and doesn't need synapse!
