So the list is built around the spearstar, it can't go after dedicated assault units, but my shooting can take out opposing assault units. If my first farseer gets Fortune the second one will roll on Telepathy so that I can get some of the wonderful things like terrify against CSM so I can actually break them. Math hammer wise versus SM we're looking at 16 attacks from the spears hitting on 4s re-rolling equals 12 hits (re-roll for prescience), 10 wounds no saves, dead squad. If there is a character in there, for instance a SM captain with artificer armour the Exarch in a challenge can get off two wounds, no armour save, instant death for S8. Or the farseer with shard can get off the same, with a 33% chance of no saves. Which makes me think I should save the points that I spent on that and spend them somewhere else.
