Hey guys I have a match vs a Tau player coming up soon and I have a list that I think might work. I've never played Tau before but I do know they rely on marker lights to take out cover saves. However I know this Tau player is also pretty new to the hobby and doesn't use his marker lights to their fullest effect. Also he relies on a pretty tightly packed gun line and one of those pesky Riptides. So here's my list.

Big Mek w/ kff and bosspole
11x Burna Boyz
20x Shoota Boyz (2x Big Shootaz) / Nob (Pk, Bosspole, Eavy Armor)
20x Shoota Boyz (2x Big Shootaz) / Nob (Pk, Bosspole, Eavy Armor)
Battlewagon (Deff Rolla, rpj, and grot riggerz)
Battlewagon (Deff Rolla, rpj, and grot riggerz)
Looted Wagon (Scorcha and rpj)
DakkaJet (extra Supa Shoota and Flyer Ace)

My idea is put a Battlewagon on both sides of the Looted Wagon and drive em right up the center with the kff providing the 5+ save to each wagon. My idea is he will have to focus his fire on one fast moving wagon at a time and each one provides death in cc. Just a thought guys so lend me ur experiance? And please don't just say the usual Loota spam... it gets old and never works for me.

Wiping out Pathfinders is always my first step with Tau (I play my brothers small Tau force once a week)

With their 5+ (and to a lesser extent the 4+ of the Firewarriors) getting a lot of rounds down range as quickly as possible tends to be my main tactic followed up by assault in limited quantities (If I go first I can often get enough shots at the Pathfinders to force a morale check)

I don't play ork but that looks to be the ideal list for taking them down, as for the Riptide I can't talk as luckily he doesn't have one!
