Data/Archives/AruleCult/ThePlanet:
Along the eastern fringe just withing the borders of the Imperium, but separated enough that the events that would unfold would remain hidden in the eyes of our emperor (Blessed be his name), lies a mining colony on the planet "Arule". This planet has quite the storied history, one which for the sake of time I will not go into (If you MUST have more information, simply shift through the data archives.). The colony was a simple one, consisting of only one small town and several mines. It was nearly defenseless at the time of these happenings (Around the same time as the Battle for Mcragge), save for the Imperial guard regiment stationed there to keep watch over the colony, to stand vigilant over the threats it would face, to purge the land of all that would be heretical in the eyes of the emperor (Blessed be his name). The men of the watch where a loyal lot, and looked up to their Lord Commisar, Syverian Gul. He himself was quite the impressive up-and-comer, with his own list of achievements, and he will be further elaborated on in his own data archive (/Data/Archives/Gul).

/Data/Archives/AruleCult/TheMines:
The mines employed nearly every one in the colony, harvesting valuable materials necessary for the production of plasma weaponry, as well as resources required for Baneblade production. These materials where then to be sent off-world to Barrendesh, a forge in the nearest imperial cluster. The colony had been neglected for quite some time, as production on Barrendesh had slowed, and the materials had lost value. As such, much of the machinery had ceased functioning, and most mines had had to resort to using an ancient tool, almost forgotten to man, known as a Pickax. It was in these mines that one faithless worker (A psyker, hidden from the Imperium by the name of Cyberus Gaunt) had discovered an artifact of a past Chaos force, known only as the Chaos Ark. It began to tear at his mind, slowly unraveling thoughts, whispering the glory of the void. It took him, it molded him into the perfect missionary for the heretic-gods. He spun tales of wondrous treasure, of holy artifacts, and plentiful knowledge within the Ark, not completely false. Word would eventually reach Gul who, despite his better judgment, did not contact the Imperum at large. He knew such an act was heresy, but he was won over by the tales of grandeur. As they say, the Forbidden Fruit tastes the sweetest (I'm not sure of the origins of the phrase, only that they pre-date the Emperor ((Blessed be his name)) and where involved in some kind of religious text). He ordered the ark to his private quarters, and summoned Cyberus. He remained in his quarters for days, endlessly prodding and poking at the ark, hoping to ascertain a greater meaning to the way it shifted under his touch. And, upon the tenth day, something began to change in him. He, too, had begun to fall to the forces of chaos. He felt the warp whisper to him in his sleep, and he welcomed it as family. He simply laughed as his stomach growled, his body malnourished, his mussels unstable. By the fifteenth day he was close to death. He had lost all sleep since the tenth day, and he could no longer prod at the Ark. It was then, as the life drained from his body, that the Ark opened to him. He saw all that man was not meant to see, the horrible secrets of the warp that had left lesser men insane, and the whispers grew louder, till the whispers turned to shouts. He felt his body replenished, his wounds filled with the glorious growths of his new lord, his scars filled with puss. He felt the touch of a god. And, to him the voices of the warp spoke, showing him the light, revealing all the lies he has been fooled into believing. And, above all else, the voices said one name in perfect unison, a glorious chorus sung by the angels of lore, they spoke to him the name of his saviour, Nurgle
