So i am trying to compose a casual play 1000 pt list that is a bit different. I want it to be sort of corsair/exodite themed and this is basically the core of what i want. Critique is welcome but keep in mind I prefer looks and feel over practicality in most cases

I do understand the "looks over function"-thinking - I normally choose units that way myself - but I don't quite see the point of a MotLG Autarch with Wings. He'll be getting a 4+ rerollable cover save in the open, but he can't join units, so he is rather fragile. If you could proxy him (or even possibly change the base to a bigger one and make him look like he's "flying"), you could use him counting as he's on a Jetbike, in which case you'll have a 2+ rerollable cover save instead. IIRC it's the same price cost.

For the list as whole, it looks rather solid. Not a very competitive list, but I assume that's not what you want to achieve. It's rather balanced: 2 Wave Serpents can do alot, especially in so low-point games. I've never really been impressed by small Scorpion squads, but that's probably just me. In some cases they pay back, in most cases I use them for the looks...

So, overall, this should do well in a Friendly to Semi-Competitive enviroment - not as well in a WAAC enviroment.

Some things I might personally have changed:

Switching the Firepike for something else... 15pts for 6" extra range really doesn't make the unit more effective (at least IMO - in some few cases it might be useful). I'd also remove the Iron Resolve from the unit. +1 leadership in a 5 man T3 3+sv will rarely be useful. If you do this, you could add Shuriken Cannons to your Serpents (which is very useful in many cases) as well as give you Scorpion Exarch some useful upgrade (such as Monster Hunter or Crushing Blow).

I agree with most of the above, drop the firepike and iron resolve for fast shot and change (remember your Ld9) and change the wings to jetbike, again as he said just play "counts as" most people don't care as long as its right base size. I don't think Sc are worth it in small point games so I don't suggest them.
