Hey Dakka,

I am getting prepared for a doubles tournament coming up in a few weeks, and I was looking for some advice on how to tweak my White Scars list. The other doubles list that my friend will be taking is Salamanders, with a few tac squads, sternguard, predator, and a TFC.

HQ:

Troops:

Bike Squad
2x Grav-gun, 4x Space Marine Biker

Combi-Grav, Melta Bombs

2x Attack Bike w/ Multimelta

Land Speeder

I already own everything in this list above, but I may consider purchasing another bike squad if many of you suggest that I should. Thanks for all the feedback!

depends on who ur with allies

I'd add a command squad if you can with all grav and an apothecary (and even a couple melta bombs if you can) that puts you at around 210 or 220.

If you can drop the land speeders and attack bikes to make that happen, you'd be as optimized as possible.

So if I take the command squad, I lose two multimelta, two heavy flamers, and the Las cannon off the stormtalon. Do you think the 4 grav guns make up for the loss of those things?

It would help dropping them for kill points and first blood. I'd be tempted to take another troop personally.

Alright, thanks guys! I didn't think about it like that, and I can see that having 5 bikes with FnP would be difficult to kill for first blood / kill points. I'll probably pick up another bike squad then and take them as either a command squad or another bike squad.
