This is what I use for yellow space marine eyes:
P3 Heartfire (base color)
VMA Gold Yellow (first highlight)
VMA Yellow (second highlight)
VGC Dead White (dot in the corner)

White dwarf issue 5 has a quick paint splatter about yellow eyes.
Use the same colours but just paint in a lens style with the shading offset and to the lower portion and the white dot and swish.
