hey guys, I've been looking for ideas for making some cool chaos spawn, and I just spotted the WHF chaos dog things on ebay.
now I was thinking, if I cut the model's back legs off, to use genestealer legs for the model, and then cut the unfurred hip/gut off and then green stuff a new lower torso, and then put it all together so the torso is facing forwards, add some arms, either possessed or genestealer, I think it would look pretty good, what do you think?

What mark do you have in mind?
Especially if you plan to play Nurgle Spawns (the best, at least for 40k) then my suggestion is to buy a box of Chaos Spawns and a box of Ogres from the Ogre Kingdoms of WHF (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat670011a&prodId=prod1320015a)

With a very limited amount of creativity and ability with Green Stuff, you can create 8 perfectly plausible Spawns... they look especially well as Nurgle ones, since they will look a bit fat.
Double that and you will be able to field 15 Chaos Spawns (max available)

Another very good option is to wait for the new IG Ogryn kit that will be released in the next two weeks and mix them with a box of chaos spawns.

thanks for the suggestion, but im not realy interested in the ogre models.

I think that is a lot more work than needed.

His execution is awesome. All they are is a combination of the Crypt Fiends body/legs/heads with Minotaur hand weapon arms, and all brought together with some greenstuff.

Heck, if you were playing Night Lords, just use the full Vargheists models. Perfect Batty-spawn goodness.
