They have early access alpha on steam right now. I for one am very excited galciv 2 was an amazing game and had a huge amount of depth. Its good to see a new one in the series and I think some of the original devs are a part of the project so hopefully it will be even better than 2 was.

I think they're doing a bit too much with the avatars... it's like the Civ series-- makes it too annoying to make custom factions without having them be just a clone of a default one in appearance.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I was very excited at announcement, but now I am less so. I just want to see what they are changing and I worry they might not be changing enough.
