So I got like 3k points of these guys to paint. I cannot for the life of me find a brown prepackaged primer I like. I got some army painter Leather Brown primer but it has a really high sheen and is making painting difficult. I also tried a krylon brown primer and it was to red/brown for my liking. Anyone know of any other companies with pre packaged brown primers I can try? I don't want to get an airbrush so that's out for me. Any help is appreciated.

I've found most brown primers to be a bit shiny. Just spray with some matt varnish after priming and it will remove the sheen.

Yeah? I thought about a quick alcohol and water wash to reduce it. That's a good idea with the matte varnish.
