The Twilight Zone

Not super knowledgeable about Brit army stuff, or flames of war so I apologize now if I say something that is wrong.

Medics are cool, but really not worth it in any squad. Sniper rifles are OK as a 4th weapon in a command squad when you have a heavy weapon. I would add in some lascannons(in your case, 17prd AT guns) for heavy dakka, and have 1 sniper beside your reg standard(bagpipes would be totally badass btw)

Bolt pistols are great and cheap on officers, but only take them with spare points, and drop them if you need to free points.

Krak grenades are not really required on standard infantry. I would give them a flamer or grenade launcher(could use a count's as PIAT). Speaking of infantry squads, you don't need heavy weapon squads when you could just put 1 6pdr each in a squad. This way, they can benefit from orders and use your VOX network.

If you want armor, Russes make good churchills/cromwells. A demolisher/eradicator is basically an AVRE, your LRBT or exterminator makes a good cromwell, and the vanquisher is basically a sherman firefly.

i rather like having a medic in my main Company command squad to help it survive as otherwise it can be an easy warlord kill. the Sniper Rifles in the second Company Command squad are mostly because i wasn't sure what to put in it. i like to have Krak everywhere as it makes all my men dangerous to tanks. the heavy weapons are separate from the infantry squads as it helps with target priority for me. i leave the squads of infantry bare as there job is to hold objectives and provide mass lasgun fire. i am considering giving them flamers for overwatch though. so any advice about the second command squad is nice i'll see about a lascannon for it. as for the tanks i don't want to use any in the list as i am doing an Armored list to go with this one which is why i was thinking about using the Tauros's as the Universal Carrier platoon geared up with grenade Launchers and a squadron with flamer.

Edit well done the bag pipes. i think he's pretty good considering i'm not much of a modeler. and the pictures not great.

The Twilight Zone

The company command is all BS4, and a great place to put a heavy weapon if your going to be stationary most or all of the game. Sniper rifles mesh well with lascannons as they both like high T, heavy armored targets(bikes, monstrous creatures) and both need to be stationary. The snipers are also dirt cheap, and a way to add a 4th item into the squad, since you have a banner and 2 guys on the gun.

Normally IG does not have a problem with AT duty, but there are worse places to spend points than on krak grenades for the platoons. Flamers are great because they don't care about your BS, protect against charges and go after the same targets lasguns do. As far as keeping your heavy weapon teams, adding them into the infantry squads gives you +1 Ld, and the vox network, greatly increasing your chance to pass orders like bring it down! or fire on my target! On the other hand, it makes your squad more or less immobile. Your lasguns won't be in range most of the game in that case, so your not really wasting their fire, but then you have a 30 man blob. I guess it depends on your tactics if you want to be mobile with the footsloggers or no. Mobile squads make better use of the krak grenades, so again it depends.

The flamer tauros is deadly to outflank and roast infantry, but I would spring for the venerator over the grenades. Multilasers give more shots, and the HK missiles are a nice boost. Take lascannons if you want more long ranged AT. And you get +1 to front armor to boot.

Bagpipes look good, and just the overall principle of using pipes for the morale boost is great.

i've gone for the Heavy Flamer Tauros. my infantry platoons tend to advance across the board and drown my opponent in FRFSRF evilness. while my heavy weapon teams with the 2IC squad sit back to hold rear objectives. but again thanks for the advice. the bag piper is something i have wanted to do for a while and last night i just sat and made him. rather impressed at how he turned out considering my modeling skills or more lack of.

Edited the list based on feed back and decided to go for the 1850 points value as it seems rather common.
