So my local gaming club is planing a 500 point tournament in the next few weeks. Because of the low points values, there have been a few rules in place to prevent too much of a Rock-Paper-Scissors metagame:

- We are using just the Allied Detachment FOC. No fortifications, dataslates or allies, only one max Elite, Fast and Heavy, exactly one HQ and 1-3 Troops.
- Flyers of any sort are banned - both flying vehicles and flying monstrous creatures.
- Anything with 4 or more Hull Points or Wounds are banned. This is intended to prevent the toughest units around from being played while restricting as little as possible.

With these restrictions in mind, I have designed the following 500 point list for the tournament:

Deathleaper
3 Tyranid Warriors - 2 Devourers, 1 Barbed Strangler
25 Termagants - 10 Devourers
2 Zoanthropes

Thoughts on the format and the list I'm taking?

Apeal to the 4 wounds ban policy? I don't see anything but wierd options being available for the Tyranids, and they lack synergy. A list with no Venomthrope's is going to struggle, but that is just my opinion.
