We've got some Escalation tournaments coming up in my local scene. I've just ordered a few things from "Forgeworld", including a Lynx.

Here's what i'm planning on putting together;

Aegis W/ Icarus Lascannon

Avatar w/ Fast shot (sits on the lascannon, handing out fearless and 2 BS10 lascannons shots)

Eldrad (for redeployment shenanigans)

Warlock (concealed guardian blob)

Lynx w/ Pulsar & Scatter Laser

2 Hornets w/ 2 Pulse Lasers & Holofields (Guided AA, and Void Shield poppers)

20 Guardians w/ 2 Bl's (home scoring unit & bunker for Eldrad)

2x3 Jetbikes w/ Shuricannon

2x5 Avengers w/ Serpent w/ SL, SC, Holofield

10 Swooping Hawks w/ Exarch & Sunrifle

The avatar is something i've wanted to take to competitive games for a while. He gives me an option for drop-pod lists, and fearless is really handy for the guardians. Maybe I could squeeze in a warlock for conceal somehow.

The Twilight Zone

Your list looks fantastic. The only thing I see is that you don't need ten hawks. Six get the large blast, and the exarch gives you that sweet AP3, blind and BS5 on the grenade pack. Since you are going at 2K, take a spiritseer over a warlock(or even two spiritseers). Ld9 makes a huge difference, in addition to the other stat boosts and 2 rolls on battle or telepathy as required. You still get conceal if you want, but you can opt for so much more. Invisibility, terrify, hallucination, psychic shriek, protect/jinx, the list goes on...

I like the lynx. Strong enough to mess things up, but not revnant titan levels of mean.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I believe it would still be single force organisation, otherwise Eldrad would be two naked farseers.

I've taken the 10 Hawks, because my 6 always seem to get minced when they come in, and I like the idea of dropping 30 dice on the table.

I would drop SC from the jetbike units, and the SC from the serpents, then lose 4 hawks from the 10 man unit, that's enough points for another 6 man unit with exarch with goodies.
