Taking part in a league at my club starting next month, can take two 50pt lists with no character restrictions. My first list is looking like :-

Something I like about this list is target priority, a lot of things can cause a lot ofproblems . Any amendments? Ideas for second list?

What is Murdoch there for? The only spell they can't benefit from without him is Temporal Acceleration, and if you are casting that on them then something is going very wrong.

Also, what is your plan for Rhupert in this list?

edit: removed one of the reasons for dropping Murdoch, since it is not character restricted. There are still better places to spend 2 points though.

I am with Motyak here. Can't see what the Murdoch is giving you in this list and the same with Rhupert

I actually thought Decel was FF, but as it isn 't, thats fine
However assault is a nice touch for extra killability, also Rhupert is a nice touch for the ATGM, however he isn 't a necessity by any stretch...

Recommend me a place to spend these 4 points?

Without Jonas, Rhupert and the Stormcallers you can take a Lancer, increasing the threat of your spells/allowing you to deadeye whoever you want. That's the first thing that jumps to mind.

If you are really attached to the Stormcallers though, A&H to give magic weapons to the stormwall/kiss the enemy is a good idea. In a no-restriction environment, you are likely to run into Vilmon-the-douchebag (I love that guy), so you'll need some way to remove high-arm magic-weapon-only guys from your boomhowlers/stormwall/whatever so you don't get jammed up too hard by single models. Also just to generally deal with Menoth jacks under their song of no shooting.

The only menoth player in my game group doesn't use vilmon thank god, I trialed A&H before going for Gorman and Rhupert in my 35pt list and never got the use their 4 pts took, I'm in no way married to the Stormcallers, just very nice with the Walls pods for picking things off.

Yeah they are really useful solos, but the Lancer is a particularly useful jack with eHaley, letting you Timebomb/Telekinesis people that you otherwise wouldn't be able to.

And it's a league, you can always run that list a few times and if you find yourself not enthralled with the callers/rhupert/jonas, you can always swap them out. Right?

Bummer. Then I'd definitely recommend the lancer over the solos. If you can't swap it out, I'd go for that choice. But that's just the way that I play.

I tend to be too aggressive with melee jacks, I don't think I will use it as an effective arc node yknow

Ok, well, umm...not quite sure.

Random thought, drop the 2 stormcallers, rhupert, jonas and harlan and take a min forgeguard for counterattacking as well as a junior to AS the Stormwall? I dunno. That was just the first thing that popped into mind. But I like Harlan, he's cool, and can do some good hurt against spelled up enemies.

Thats why he is there, a lot of my opponents rely on upkeeps!
