hey there. finialy got a camra... still working on taking photo worth a dam lol. got any tips?

any way i got a commission from a friend to paint up his Gorman. He really wanted a good job done on it so i thought i would also update my progress. also lets people know how i did what.

hope you like it, im sorta nerves as this is the first time im posting photos and this mini means alot to him.


First up is just the little guy all primed with GW black primer.... new light box... not shur if im using it right.






Next is just the base coat: he be rockin from GW a kantor blue coat, just a black over coat, dawnston trimings, doombull brown pants/gloves/mask, ironbreaker metal, balthasar gold, mephiston red tie
for his under shirt i got him lased up in yellowed bone
and for the boots, belts and had he has some burnt umber from vallejo air model line... odd i know but god it works good. lol.





what do you guys think? any tips with taking photos would be amazing as well.

the was finaly dried. did i little bit of seraphim sepia on cloth and leather, then used nul oil on the rest





think i got the lighting down a bit better, but still cant figure out y the quality is still gak....

ya he is a neet little guy... no idea what he does. im khador myself lol

any way sorta lost track of time and what i was doing and just about finished him up. still a few more things to do. like basing and what not.

Gorman works for Khador. He is by far my favorite solo. He can deal with infantry and makes getting rid of Colossals and heavies easier.

And his model is pretty cool (the normal one looks like Darkeing Duck"

haha thanks man. i might have to pick the normal one up. the Pressganger one is only for Pressgangers and they apparently get into allot of trouble if they sell it.... tho having Darkeing duck would be sorta cool for my army XD

any way hear is a custom base i made for my friend. had to cut up the one he was on to get him off. but o well. was going for the deck of a ship them. just gave it a splash of paint. will have more detail before i strap him on XD.
