Bush? No, Eldar Ranger

So I'm trying to help a Friend with Space Wolves beat Tau, and have had the book for about 48 hours, so I would really appreciate any help on SW tactics.
The Current list
HQ - 135
1. Rune Priest - 135
Saga of The Warrior Born
Strom Caller
Divination
Troops - 570
1. Grey Hunters - 190
10x guys
Drop Pod
2 Meltaguns
2. Grey Hunters - 190
10x guys
Drop Pod
2 Meltaguns
3. Grey Hunters - 190
10x guys
Drop Pod
2 Meltaguns
Elites - 175
1. Iron Priest - 95
Saga of the Iron Wolf
3x Servitors (Servo-Arm)
2. Iron Priest - 80
3x Servitors (Servo-Arm)
Fast Attack - 225
1. Thunder Wolf Cav - 225
2x Storm Shield/Boltgun
1x Boltgun/CCW
Heavy Support - 390
1. Land Raider Crusader - 275
MultiMelta
Extra Armor
2. Long Fangs - 115
1x Leader
4x Msl Launcher
TACTICS:
The Iron Priests and Rune Priest Jump in the Land Raider, giving it two repairs and a 5+ cover every turn. If lucky on the rolls, the Rune Priest will instead be giving the LR a 4++. Behind this hides the Thunder Wolves, who are simply trying to break LOS so they don't get shredded by Fire Warriors. The Grey Hunters drop in with Meltaguns to hopefully pop the Hammerhead. The Land Raider hugs the side of the map, rolls up to the gun Line, the wolves get their faces in Some Fire warriors, and the priests jump out and assault Broadsides.
Would This work? Any tips to make it better? Don't get rid of the Thunder Wolves, she loves them too much.

gonna poke some holes:
1. you cant put 2 units in a landraider
2. ironpriest are not independant characters
3. you cant mix book powers hit codex powers
4. why are you sinking 585 points in a friggin landraider that shoot some str 4
5.why saga of the warrior born on a model that isnt supposed to be in ccb
6. why just 3 thunderwolves
7.why just 1 runepriest and why no jaws ?
whit the hole poking done some advice
most ranged stuff of tau is 36" you stay out of it or hit them where it hurts in ccb (if you get there). The landraider is a waste of points i would advice some more runepriests (whit the greyhunters in the droppods) whit jaws if you fight tau its a up hill battle you need to optimise your list

I'm dropping the 80 pt Priest, suggestions with the points?
Where does it say you can't mix powers? It says in the codex that the Rune Priest gets two powers, and I know my Eldar can mix trees...
The land raider is the only vehicle AV 14 all sides, meaning only harmable by S: 8+ (in the case of the opponent, one skyray, one Meltagun on a suit, and one hammerhead) It's being used to block the firepower on the Thunder Wolves so they can get to the punching (somewhere they never get to alone). I picked the Crusader for Infantry shredding to decrease the number of units in the gun line as it rolls up the field. However, it IS 585 points right now, do you have any alternate suggestions that can survive S: 5 everywhere for cheaper while blocking LOS for the Wolves?
Saga of the Warrior Born for extra shredding power against masses of Fire Warriors. I know the Rune Priest isn't meant to punch, but everything can punch Tau. As such, multiple assault with Saga of the Warrior Born to let the punching never stop so the rune Priest can't be shot.
Never seemed to need more than three Wolves, and I'm trying to hide them all behind a LR... How many would you suggest?
Just one Rune Priest because I'm just trying to make the LR more durable, and don't need two for that. JOWW is nasty to the ignorant Tau player what with they're I:2 across the board, but a blob Tau list spread out properly means you'll only ever get 1-3 fire warriors, MAYBE a Suit if you're lucky.
She's already tried the 'drop pod with JOWW surprise' several times, they all ended... shall we say... miserably? It limited the number of troops on the field to nice bite sized chunks in Rapid fire range, which never lasted through the turn.

Stick with what SW are good at: Drop pod grey hunters, with rune priests. Drop them in, use cover if you can to prevent any incoming interceptor shots, and then focus his ethereal/markerlights first.
Tau are actually not too bad for SW, as JotWW will eat gun lines when the runepriest drops in, and you can close the distance very fast.
