Hello!
So, I dun goofd.. Here is my hive tyrant. or what used to be a hive tyrant.
I let him soaked in acetone free nail polish for ~4 hours. I wanted the paint to come off but I clearly didnt read enough about that stuff.

So, yay; melted, bumpy, grimm-looking hive tyrant zombie!
Im looking for any suggestion you might have to what I should do with him. As sad as I am, im not gonna get him back, so I better find him a use.
Whats your suggestion? Idea? Anything goes!

PSA: Dont soak your minis in nail polish remover for extended amounts of time, dont be stupid like me.

I think the answer here is defiantly something all nurgled up!

"I hate 6th! Fix it GW!!!"
"Seventh edition? Feth that GW! I'm sticking with sixth to show you who is boss! Via la revolution!"
"I'm not buying anything from you no more! Apart from three riptides, new codex, starter set and rulebook... but that's it!"

And that is how I see Dakka ^_^

Could be kinda cool to make him a piece of scenery. The bubbled look kinda looks like rotting exoskeleton. Just paint it like a husk, faded colors and greyish white edges.

Crumbling imperial statue of a hive tyrant being taken down by a dreadnought, or termies, given the same crumbly treatment?

Pps I did this to a contemptor dread. Details all smoothed out and the resin went all bendy and a bit purple. One day the bendiness might go, then I can do something with it. Totally nurgle.

I dont really know tyranids that well but maybe with a few spare pieces a giant head with extra fangs or something you could patch him up and make ur own unique or custom warlord. another option would be add some blood splatter make him scenery with the idea that he just took a lascannon or something to the face.

I can see it set up as a Diorama piece.

If he looks melted, how about a Melta-gun wielding marine in a triumphant pose? Or use the kneeling legs to show one offering a prayer of thanks to the Emperor?

Oh - XENOS! How about Deathwatch? you could have a sternguard - equivalent team with combi meltas, a flamer and a heavy flamer or similar?

Thats why we can't have nice things.

Otherwise, doesn't look too bad from my point of view. Still looks tyranidy and those gribblies are all wishy-washy, right boyz? I think with some greenstuff you could make it work as a tyranid still. Might be time consuming but you could end up with somethign even better than the default modell, madskillz provided...

@Gomericus, be careful with Purple Power as well as I lost a unit of Forge World nurgle terminators... They got all puffy and bloated, completely unusable.

For nurgle... that sounds oddly okay.

It is a plastic miniature, right? Never soak the plastics in aceton / nail polish, rather use Dettol for it. You can soak plastic miniatures in Dettol for ages, I think my genestealers and rippers were in there for three weeks once. Only use aceton / nail polish on metal miniatures.

Good idea! But I dont have any Space marines or other armies, so that'd be kinda hard. I already pretty much settled for a nurgle infected tyrant, I even have a small back story for it, lol. Thanks though!

You know youve got problems whe nurgle and tyranids unite. BIG troubles.
