Hello dakka!

So I need a bit of advice, a new store has opened up in my town and one of the opening events will be a kill team league over the Easter Holidays. I can't wait to take part in this, however, to say my knowledge of kill team is limited would be generous! Usually I just play it to fill the time while my friend sets up his infantry heavy Guard army.

Now the good thing is I have a lot of options, and we are playing warhammer world rules (so no riptides!). Here are some of the ideas I have had, please let me know where I can improve them:

Blood angels - sternguard with cheap 5pt combi weapons. Only marine armour but combi weapons always prove useful.

Chaos - plague marines, possibly bringing along some plasma for any vehicles. The extra toughness could prove useful with the lack of heavier weaponry.

Tyranids - Termagants and Zoeys for the synapse (no warriors at present). Flood the board with gants and use the Zoeys against tougher units.

Dark Eldar - trueborn with blasters and warriors with splinter rifles? Maybe add a venom for the dual splinter cannons.

Tau - 1 crisis suit with a burst cannon, plasma rifle and support system along with lots of fire warriors and maybe some drones (just got these at a boot sale so very limited options)

Necrons - my main army so I have access to pretty much everything. I was originally going to run tesla immortals but I'm not sure the tesla rules will help as everything is a separate unit. I could go gauss crazy with 15 warriors or immortals, wraiths although they could get bogged down quite easily. Deathmarks are an option but could someone clear up the hunters from hyperspace rule in a killteam setting for me?

Sorry for the awful layout to this post. I'm on my phone, on a train, and my phone isn't being very user friendly.
