So I love love love Grim Angus. Therefore I decided to build a list around, well shootn trolls XD

Looks like this:

Angus
-Runebearer
-Bomber
-impaler

Boomhowler n co (9)
10 pug bushwackers

3 sluggers

Alton Ashley

So the idea is to move up the sluggers and have the bomber near by, while the rune bearer, Angus and the impaler cast snipe on them. Let them sit with range 14 pow 13 d3 shots with conceal. The warriors with swiftfoot prayer will wait till the enemy gets close and then, once the sluggers, bomber and pugs get their jollies off, run up in a line and prevent trampled, charges etc. The pigs can put out 1 Pow 19 hit if something tough needs to get hit or a solo needs to die, so I feel like I can handle most problems with this list if I adopt appropriate tactics for a given opponent.

So, comments, criticisms or suggestions?

First off. I think your a point short, unless my war room is off.

P grim is awesome because you can run most anything.

I am not a huge fan of sluggers, even more so when you don't run stone. 12/14 with 5 boxes is terribly squishy for a 1.6 point model. Especially one that wants to get in a position to put out some fire a turn beforehand. Especially now, when we can compare to another multibox unit *cough* *cough* warders. I think if you really want to bring them, put them in an e grim list where they can do some work on feat turn.

I sometimes like bushwackers with pgrim they are a good target for hunter and can pink off models that like to dig in cover. I always like a min unit over max though.

Some extra little notes: Warriors like cabers. Pgrim loves burrowers and the EBDT. Everything likes a fell caller.

Armies I've played-

Is it bad to be a point short? Either way, according to my War room app, what I have there is bang on 35 points.

Totally agree

I am really curious to see what they can do with snipe (+4 range) and d3 shots at pow 13 each, plus all the other goodies that we can give them. All the while having the ability to drop some bomber goodness on some heads and pygs bushwacking at up to pow 20
And lets not forget boomhowler and co screening the whole time while alton and grim snipe annoying solos. Either way, I am really curious to see how this works (if it even would)
