I figure it is time I stopped lurking in the shadows of the night to say hello. I only recently(early 2013) got into 40k after observing a couple games in Utah when I was on the road, but I didn't have the chance to build up an army beyond researching things. Most notably how to paint on such a small scale, because the smallest thing I've had the chance to paint were model planes when I was young and 1/10 scale r/cs about 10 years ago. I've found building and customizing the minis to be quite fun for me.
