hey everyone, i have decided to repaint my space marine army, or, just find a good theme for the budget grey knights army im planning on making, but anyways, the next painting theme i have planned on using, is an all white theme, with a color to use for the little things like the eyes, and knee pads, and shoulder pads, BUT.... for the fine detail (blood) i would have a bit of blood red or deep gore red paint on a stiff bristled brush, then lightly flick it onto the models to make it look like it was splattered with blood from a foe, or something. i could use a different color besides red, for the blood, like maybe a neon green, if it were tyranid blood, or something like that.

Would this idea be cool? or sound do-able?

That Works on an army like pre heresy World Eaters, but i'm not sure how it would go on Grey/Silver... maybe on weapons you could do more gore instead, like some people use UHU glue to get it stringy and then use a red wash.

It's that feely feel that feels... feely.....

As an ork i say .. "da mor gore da betta!"

as for weapon gore .. Blood for the Blood God technical paint is amazing

Wot's faster than a warbuggy, more killy than a warbike, and flies through da air like a bird? I got no bleedin' idea, but I'm gonna find out.

If you have access to it, I highly recommend doing a 50/50 of magenta ink and chestnut ink. It gives the blood a deep copper tone underneath the red, which really looks like it came from deep within a body as opposed Blood for the Blood God, which looks more like the kind of blood you would get near the surface for more superficial wounds.

I dunked my Lone Wolf's entire chainfist in a bottlecap up to the knuckles and it looks like he dug the thing into a carnifex's chest cavity on full rev.
