I dont have my codex with me right at this very second, but I know my army well enough to be able to list them without it. This is not my complete but what I usually field when playing games around about 1500pts

HQ:
Chaos Lord, Mark of Khorne, Axe of Blind Fury, Juggernaut, Combi-Flamer, Sigil of Corruption
Typhus

Troops:
35 Plague Zombies (or sometimes 2 units of 20 Plague Zombies)
10 Marines, Mark Of Slannesh, Icon of Excess, Gift of Mutation, Meltagun, Autocannon, COMBI-BOLTER
7 Plague Marines, Plasma Gun, Gift of Mutation
6 Plague Marines, Plasma Gun, Gift of Mutation, POWER FIST

Elites:
5 Possessed, 2 Gifts of Mutation, Mark of Khorne

Fast Attack:
Heldrake, Baleflamer
6 Bikes, Mark of Khorne, Icon of Wrath, 2 Flamers, LIGHTNING CLAW

Thats all ive got so far, ive got a few other models that i havent really worked out yet, but any advice on what I've got so far would be great
Btw the Chaos Lord is with the bikes, until the bikes need to turbo boost, works well to flank, I can send my chaos lord right down the middle and bring the bikers around the back, or the bikes to focus on an annoying enemy unit, while my chaos lord deals with their HQ

Possessed aren't that bad, especially with the Vessels of Chaos that every turn potentially gives them Re roll wounds, ap3 or +1A and +1I
I didn't put it on there, but when I do eventually get around to fielding them, I'll be taking a Rhino with a Combi Bolter, Dirge Caster and Havoc Launcher

Combi flamer? You're sacrificing an attack in combat to get that. And if you're in flamed range you are in assault range, and firing the flamer risks you not getting the assault in. I would go meltabombs, in case of dreadnoughts.

Or does the combi-flamer replace that? I just thought like it'd be the same as a chaos space marine champion, they've got a bolt pistol, bolt gun and ccw as his default

Combi flamer replaces bolt pistol. It is stupid tho you're right as champion get 3 weapons.

Damn yeah that sucks, I thought it would have just been an extra weapon in this case, what do you suggest I give him instead?

Yeah I've had a look into them I still really like the axe. Only thing is I'm not sure about taking the combi flamer away, I understand what you're saying about losing the attack but he has 3 standard, the juggernaut gives him +1, he gets +2 for charging, and anywhere between +2 to +6 depending on the roll for the axe. So he can have anywhere between 6 and 12 attacks on the charge. And the flamer can be useful to soften a squad before assaulting it. And of course the boltgun just for those units that are a bit further away

You dont want to soften a squad before assaulting it tho. It increases the risk of you failing the charge, and you'll kill enough with the axe usually.

Can the Chaos Lord take an icon? That is true, the axe deals a lot of wounds out, but yeah I can give him the pistol even just to make him cheaper at least

The lord can't take an icon... he will benefit from the icon of the unit he is with, so icon of wrath could be worth it on the bikes.

Hmm, yeah I'm going to have to give them the icon for sure then, and the squad will benefit from the Chaos Lords fearless as well
