On a whim I picked up two textured paints (Armageddon dust and starland mud). I was wondering if anyone has used it to weather the feet/knee area's of their models to any good effect.

Not those paints and not knees of models, but I have used other textured paint to weather the suspension of vehicles.

Like most of these things you need to experiment a bit with it, however the good thing about weathering is that it looks good however much you mess things up because that is the point of weathering!
