Heavy Support - Land Raider W/ Multi-Melta and Storm Bolter (Deathwing Vehicle) - 295pts

Idea of the List:
Firstly Belial and his squad of termies deep strike in with the other two squads of termies and pop any Tanks or Heavy weapons that are a threat too the Assault force (Land Raiders) and the storm bolters from the terminator squads split fire into the enemy infantry and drop as many as they can to supress next turn fire and take out enemy infantry. Secondly the land raiders move up 12" and are not in threat from any other enemy heavy weapon e.g a Hammerhead Gunship or Chaos Land Raider.....The Next turn the Landing force will be getting shot at and Assaulted so they will be locked in combat or in a firefight destroying the enemy, meanwhile the Assualt force moves up another 12" and seizes more ground, the third turn the land raiders move up 6" and pop smoke as the enemy may have some sneaky demolitions teams or wyches with Haywire grenades ready too charge my tank from reserve......the terminators then get out and join the fight with the landing force. Turn 4 and the enemy are utterly pummled, the 1st company have regrouped and are ready to deal with any enemy reserves (If the enemy has them). Also the chainfist's are to 2D6 Armourbane enemy vehicles and the Assault Cannon's for the Assault force in land raiders are to mop up any unengaged and straggling enemy infantry or light armour. By turn 5 we should have brought the Emperor Victory! and conquered our foes...a
Any PFG And Techmarines or Librarians have also already be thought of and are not needed as the tactics of this list dont need them at all when we already have 4+ smoke saves, The Knights with belial are mostly Fluff needed and look good escorting him on the battlefield and will challenge tough enemy infantry of the battlefield when assaulting, Also the reason for choosing a land raider crusader and a normal land raider is the fact that we never know what is around the corner and there could easily be a monstrous creature or enemy vehicle that is out of range of the landing force and needs some heavy firepower to deal with and the Crusader is their to also mop-up any enemy remenance....Please leave your comments down below and tell me what you guys think

Good luck with this.
I wouldn't deepstrike Belial with Knights, you just wasted a turn of twin-linked shooting. drop him in with shooting terminators, probably the assault cannon squad, do a lot of damage and hope that he can last a turn. pile the Knights into the Land Raider. travelling would be a better way to get them into combat.

Thanks alot viewfinder, I have been thinking about that one before and i too thought its a waste of a turn twin-linked shooting, So yeah i think il change that, and do you think the Assault cannon would be best as the Landing force is to tank bust mainly ?

Thanks for that so i'l have one squad with the Assault cannon with belial and 2 other squads with the CML for anti tank  Also how do you think my list would do in competetive games and do you like my strategy ?

like I said, you're going to have to be really good about your rolls. there's not a lot of models on the table here, and you will get pummeled by lots of shots. 2+/5++ wears down fast to a lot of shooting.

The cover save from smoke launchers is 5+ not 4+ (page 87).
If you're dropping Belial with a non-Knights unit, I suggest a Heavy Flamer, they're rather tasty when twin-linked and without scatter.

Bearing in mind viewfinder that the Krak missiles are S8 Wheras the Assault Cannons are only S6 So they can harm land raiders or monolith's, Plus the Krak missiles on the rear armour of most tanks are glancing on 2's and penning on 3's and rerolling to hit due to deathwing assault so i can pop tanks easilly with the CML, However i will give belial's termie squad a Heavy Flamer to take out large amounts of infantry Automatically Appended Next Post: And also the last tournament i played with this list belial's unit alone with a CML and Assaulting Destroyed 2 Russes instantly........Now imagine what 3 Units could do

A missile launcher can only glance AV 14. Assault cannons can pen it. I have cracked more LRs with them than lascannons. and twin-linked is even better.

I dont mind tbh, When i assault them they'll die either way, plus i have the frag missiles for infantry (So its very variable) and also the chainfists can deal with AV14  But thanks anyway
