Any idea where these thousand son terminator bits came from?

The torsos pop up on ebay every now and then but they are not cheap. They are often listed as Egyptian Galaxy Knights. Search the sold listings and you will spot the terminator and regular marine version.

I have a set right now I am painting. The set was 6 torsos, heads, 12 shoulder pads, some loin-cloths, and some little square panel bits I could not figure out where they went. Only one of the heads pictured in that blog comes with the set. The rest are most likely Kromlech or Maxmini.

Some said it was once a forge world kit that was discontinued and I have also heard that some sculptor in Europe does them.

I can't find any additional info and the usernames mentioned on eBay don't seem to be currently active. I didn't do much searching on sold listings as Rickfactor suggested though.
