Thoughts?

I like it. Good solid block of Imperial Guard, nothing fancy and a lot of built in redundancy. I take it you face horde armies then? As a treadhead myself, I'm kinda missing the battle cannon love, but if you have tonnes of enemy foot sloggers to chew up, those Exterminators should do the trick.

Not entirely sure what the Commissars are for though. Just for morale? Might be worth dropping one or both of them in favour of some tools for your two PCS. Nice list anyway.

Ya the commissars are in there for stubborn, I went with the exterminators based on the price and the fact they are good all around against infantry / light & medium vehicles (and not half back with twin-linked snap firing at fliers).

I would swap out two of the auto cannons for las cannons instead. As of now the only anti heavy tank/ mc you have is the vanquisher. Other than that it looks pretty solid.

How do you kill AV14 vehicles?

So you've paid 25 points for stubborn but with the downside of executions when you could have just paid 25 points for Fearless with no downside and get Hatred and reroll saves/wounds thrown in too. Why?

You are light against AV14 with only the Vanquisher. Perhaps drop the grenade launchers to get lascannons on the Exterminators. Not a great option but gives a fall back. The other option is to switch to MM sponsons on them. It depends on meta.

Although with only 50 guardsmen on the field I wonder if Vets would be a better option. You up to Bs4 for practically no points 4 squads would give loads more firepower fir the same points you've spent on the platoons.

With my meta and av14 there's only one sm player that runs two land raider crusaders, and the same guy as a monolith so anti av14 isn't a huge issue (and why I went str7 spam and the vq is there for av14).

The vet idea might work but I kind of want the stubborn/fearless blob bubble wrapping tanks.
