Ive been in the beta for 6months or so, and its been pretty solid so far and ive enjoyed it.

It will be a good game, but as all MMO's go... it depends on the game balance in the end.

Better for the studio to have a stable income instead of some free-to-play bull model. Those things are nothing but the eye of Sauron staring at your wallet. And reminding you ALWAYS that it's staring at your wallet. Instead of having to spend resources on promoting the fact the game would be better if you paid for it, those resources can be used to keep top notched talent and give focus on new content.

I've tried several of the FTP versions and so far they haven't done well at making a fun game experience.

I've been following Wildstar since it first appeared on my radar, got a beta key for the beta weekend that just finished and so tried it out.

Still a little bit on the fence, only played to level 9 and my computer isn't as great as it could be.

Went for a Human Spellslinging Explorer.

I, as a customer, want to have a look at something first before buying. That's why I like F2P games. Play for a week, go for it. Or don't. I'll just wait a year-ish until Wildstar goes F2P

Why not try and get into the beta weekends?

They were giving away the beta keys for 'em for free.
