So I was going to look into getting some products (mostly curious about the Ogres as I was thinking if using them for both Kings of War and Ogre Kingdoms in Fantasy) at miniature market and going for mostly clearance. Seems that they only had a few select things, so I looked at Warpath and that as was, and seemed like mostly they had Dreadball and Deadzone in stock. I am just curious if it just Miniature Market not really focusing on Warpath or Kings of War, or is this is Mantic doing it as a whole with other suppliers.

Also on that notion, is the Ogre starter box any good? I was looking at it and it seems to come with a decent amount of items to start with for smaller games to a degree.

Ogre army set is great, minis are really nice and the price is good!

Agreed with Squig, that Ogres are a good box.
Be prepared to do a good amt of mold line cleaning (fairly common with restic) but the models look great.

Doing stuff for Warmahorde's restic, I am quite familiar with the mold line cleaning that I have to do. Also, I kind of Prefer Mantic's Ogres over GW's to a great degree, but I was wondering how I can do with Mantic Ogres for a Ogre Kingdom army while doing Kings of War as well. Only main issue is some of the mounts.

Also kind of curious about the Baselia Knight models and making them as stand ins for Brettonia.

If you take any comfort from sanity, stay away from the Basilean models. Anything with weapons that require two hands should never, ever be done in Restic. I've assembled 5 of my 40+ Basilean paladins, and 3 of 10 of the Paladin Knights, and it is extremely unlikely I will ever assemble any more. I think the sculpts are pretty good, but the horses in particular are a royal wonder of twisted, madness inducing, no two sides ever fit together even after repeated heat treatments, pain and frustration.

Focusing on that part, although I've never shopped there, as I understand it Miniature Market behaves really strangely with their Mantic stuff

MiniMarket goes through cycles of stocking KoW and Warpath and then clearancing it off; it'll be back in a few months I'd bet.

However, www.thewarstore.com and frpgames.com both carry the full lines at a 20% discount. (frpgames will usually also have some items 30-50% off if they have a lot of stock, for instance, 12 of an army set, so 2 will be 40% off; then when it goes to quantity 10 it'll be back to 20% off, etc)

There are two ebay stores that have up to 40% off, but don't have the full product lines, dicehead and gamenerdz.

I will check those out. If not, I can buy from Mantic directly as their prices are not too bad, but I am looking to get a bit cheaper since I am still in college.

Mantic miniatures aren't the only lines that Miniature Market is a bit daft on - I have had problems getting Reaper from them, and, aside from their Bones and LE lines, Reaper is just about the most stable miniatures company out there. (And those are manufactured elsewhere.)
