An interesting question came up last night and we were trying to figure out if it was a legal thing.

Can you have a cheat sheet on your opponents movement abilities? I believe each expansion has

a card with a ships movement pattern with appropiate white green and red manuevers. Can you use these

to see the opponents possible move alternatives?

I don't think it is cheating to have the opponent's ships movement sheets.

However I would be quite annoyed if my opponent had my movement sheets and spent 10 minutes just trying to figure out where I'll move next.
If a guy has my movement sheets, and plays reasonably quickly I have no problem with it.

If you buy the ship, you have access to the dial. Certainly not cheating. If its done quickly, no irk. If its a slow thought process, I'd be pissed.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I'd have no problem with a cheat sheet as long as it didn't take away the speed of the turns which is a big reason I love the game. I got kind of irked when we played a 700 total point game at the shop because the imperial players took 20minutes a turn to decide how he blob of ti fighters was going to move. In the end it was a fun game, but all of them were veteran players and it was a huge howlrunner swarm so it didn't matter much, but the rebel players were sitting there bored while they kept consulting the turn cards.

The maneuver cards are the back sheet in the expansions by the way. I think it's very helpful for beginners to see what the opponent can do to them.
