So, i was reading up on my TGG threads and a thought occurred tome. wow I have alot of unsent kickstarters out there. I wonder how many miniatures I'm gonna be getting out of all my kickstarters total

I did the math and the research...and...I'm gonna end up with over 1300 hundred miniatures

Omg how did this happen??.....if I painted a miniature a day it would take me 3 and a half years to paint them all...and there's no way I a paint a miniature a day...it is more like a mini a week...which equals.....28 YEARS!!!!

And this doesn't include the truckload I already own...Holy crap

Has anyone else come to this point in their lives? Am I the only one with this problem?

You're not alone......

(although tend to think KS just delivers a big box of minis all at once, rather than multiple smaller purchases done via normal shopping)

I'm less a KS addict and more of a minis addict, which has lead to some large KS backing.

I have somewhere in the realm of probably a thousand models "due" by the end of the year. This is in addition to the few thousand I already have (the GW stuff I've inventoried, itself a subset of my GW stuff, is about 3400 models) and is exacerbated by my horrifically sporadic painting.

So you're not alone, but I did decide to be far more selective in my KS activity; backing a KS for tomorrow didn't stop me from getting stuff today and that just seems destined to result in tragedy...

OK that's a good call, I'm a mini addict and KS is where I get alot of them.

Super Dungeon Explore is going to be my last one.

KS has come to the point where I'm not much of a fan, anymore.

There are some great projects out there, but there comes a point when you get too many things going, and the "Project" is banking more on forgetful, then fulfillment.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
