The Eye of Terror

Firstly read posting rules, quoting the cost of every upgrade is a no no.

Secondly, extatic seizures is the anti horde power you want as the unit literally rips itself to pieces, it also can be cast in combat so spring for a slaneshi scorcerer instead as the slaneshi powers are all good against hordes.

Thirdly, split oblits into one man squads. Then you can target 3 different units, spread out so they can't all get hit at once, and most importantly never have to worry about LD tests

Also, you claim to be an anti horde list but didnt spring for black mace, not even the burning brand? Those 2 items alone can kill squads on their own.

If you give me info on the army you are fighting I can tailor better

I read the posting rules after I posted and I just copy and pasted from battle scribe. Also, I claimed to be anti-horde because I have to face orks. I'm not an experienced player and I don't know my codex as well as I should. I was looking for suggestions.

The Eye of Terror

The black mace ap 4 and curse will kill enough to earn its points back the minute you use it its an artifact,look at it and then try to use it

Slaneshi scorcerer is a definite as ork initiative makes them susceptible to the blinding effect of the primaris turning them into even worse shots and terrible cc. Roll 2 on slannesh and 1 on telepathy. In the telepathy table there is a power that removes fearless. If you don't get something useful switch to shriek and use it against mega armored targets and gretchin.

With power weapon choices use mauls for added strength, hitting before orks can get you killed so with the terminators avoid powerfists (since ours are overly spiky we can get away calling them lc) terminator lord needs blight grenades THIS is important. As defensive grenades they remove bonuses for the charging orks this includes furious charge so the standard boy will need a 6 to wound you and because you are striking first even if you get swamped buy 30 my money is on you still winning.



That's all I can do with what you got if you have any of the following add them cause thy are good. Ork armor isn't great so its maybe worth subbing some obliterators, or the raptors for...

Preaditor with hb sponsons,warpflame gargoyles, autocannon, and havoc launcher.
I call it the dakkapread and at 117 pts you get terrific anti horde power with high strength shooting and the bonus of setting the unit on fire.

Bastion
If your feeling mean, ork anti armor is bad and the most effective form involves ramming with a battle wagon or pk nobz since you already loaded with flamers getting close is bad and staying away is bad too also mounts a quad gun in the event he spams dakka jets

Spawn
Cheap, fast, and T6 with MoN, if you want to assault stuff these are your workhorse. Also being gibbering mounds of mutant flesh, modeling them from spare bits is easy, even if it goes bad on spawn its ok as they are ment to look disgusting. One of the few models where bad modeling is encouraged.

Defiler
Normally I'd say no but against orks one of these is a safe bet and they got better in this dex. Defiler kills effectively at all ranges and is very mobile. Battle Cannon spells ID to nobz and you can keep moving due to walker status. Keep it out of cc as pk nob will hurt, however the average ork cannot touch it so are forced to fail moral checks due to our weapons are useless rule. YMMV

Good luck, you have a clear advantage against orks so I'd put you as the likely winner. Go forth and destroy the foul xenos for the glory of CHAOS!!
