Escalation/Stronghold Assault is not allowed but Knights are. I don't want to bring Daemons because I really want to make CSM work. The list requires a little different than most because the first mission involves holding objectives, not grabbing them on the last turn. After that it's Purge the Alien and then the Relic, none of which I think cultists will be any help at all. So instead of my usual cultists I'm opting for Plague Marines. Here is the list I'm thinking of:

Nurgle Bike lord with black mace, sigil, VotLW, melta bombs (this guy is always a boss and I hate to say it but he outperforms the juggerlord)

5 Plague Marines with 2 melta guns

5 Plague Marines with 2 flamers

5 Plague Marines

5 Nurgle Spawn (with nurgle lord)

Heldrake with baleflamer

2 MoN Oblits

2 MoN Oblits

1 MoN Oblit

Ork Bikerboss with cybork body, bosspole, power claw

5 Nob Bikers + 1 Painboy (6 total) 3 naked bikers, 1 with power klaw, bosspole, waagh banner, 1 with power klaw


I have been seeing a lot of Knights lately and the Orks should able to easily kill a Knight on the charge. Nothing in my list is really scared by battlecannons that much except for the plague marines.

Any tips would be much appreciated. I'm going to be testing out this list Wednesday with a friend who plays Tyranids.
