I've not long picked up 40K and I'm just getting around to painting my nids, so I wanted to show my Tervigon off as well as get some advice as I'm still rather new to painting and all..
Thanks in advance!

Maybe some other angle shots as well, this blue is interesting. I'm liking the palette here.

Icenids! I like it More angles would be good - from the way the lighting is set up, it looks a lot like the backlighting is making that particular paint scheme look very nice, because it's got a sort of glow to it. Different angles will help critique it more accurately...

Id recommend lightly drybrushing the dark blues and purples with several layers of lighter colors to help the edges pop out.

My first advice is when photographing, have the light source behind you and shining on the miniature rather than behind the miniature and shining in the the camera lens. It would make it a lot easier to see the model to try and judge it. Personally I like feathering the edges of my nids to really bring some texture to the carapace. Like so:

I don't really have any advice, I just wanted to say I like your color choices. Presumably the spiky bits coming out of the carapace will be a much lighter purple?

I like the direction you are going.
One piece of advice might be to remove the mini from the base if you can (carefully) to give you better access to paint it.
Finally, as others mentioned, washes in recessed areas and drybrusying in raised sections can really help the model pop.
Try watching as many painting videos on youtube as possible, for other model techniques.
best of luck
