We noticed something odd on the LA sisters list:

Weapons do not count against the wargear limit. The only RAW reference I can think of for this though is the Chaos FAQ. Anyone have a better source?

No they don't.  The only reference I have is the DH codex. Under the Armoury, it says:

"Characters can have up to two weapons, one of which can be two handed.  You may also pick up to 100 points of wargear per model..."

Iirc, master crafting only counts the points for master crafting against wargear limits, the original weapon does not.  Actually, here is the quote, again from DH "However, only the upgrade costs are taken against the 100 points limit on wargear for a model."

The example is a m-c powersword only counts 15 points, rather than 30 against wargear.

"You may also pick up to 100 points worth of wargear..." C:WH pg 20

Wargear is a specific subsection of the Witch Hunters Armoury. Weapons and psychic powers are not a part of this subsection. There is no debate.

Never mind, it hashed itself out:

WH book:

Yup. What so difficult to understand in that. Wargear is a narrower
category than Armory, which some people find confusing.
