Would it be better to run corbulo with a Libby and 8 man assault squad in a LR

Or 2 sang priests

1 with the example above and the 2nd priest with a 5 man terminator TH/SS squad in a stormraven

Corbulo equals 105 points
2 priest equal 100 points

Corbulo is far superior.
His Chainsword means that he will actually do something in combat and he's a decent challenger.
His 2+ FnP will do a good job negating the effects of Overwatch.
And when that LR gets Immobilised on a terrain, or the Raven doesn't arrive on time the one re-roll can truly save your day.

Curbulo is better. 2+ FNP can just tank everything and he also gives the rest of the squad 4+ FNP. Curbulo goes w/ TH/SS termis amazingly. He tanks all the strength 7 and below shots and passes the rest on to termis.

Couldn't agree more...

Corbulo is beast bullet magnet. as long as you have someone to tank S8+ shots with him he is an animal. I've had games were he made 40+ saves due to his 3+ armor and 2+FNP save which he gets on anything str 7 and below. He also has a nice S5 chainsword with rending. He is really good to take as an ally and stick with a centurion star to soak up S7 shots and below and then just put an EW Chapter master in front of him to Tank S8 and above wounds otherwise throw the small arms shots back onto Corbulo. (just keep in mind that the 5+FNP that he grants to people around him only work for Blood Angel models.)

It's actually 4+ FNP because of the wording of the rule I think.

FNP is 5+ across the board unless 6+ by some other races or 2+ in corbulo case

I believe it's because 5th edition FnP was 4+ and the rule was written back then.
So bad wording, I believe it's FAQed altough I'm not sure.
