So, I've bought the two-player battle box for Hordes.
Any advice on what to add to the circle army next? I really like the model for Lord of the Feast, so I hope he is useable
I prefer the wolves over the golems, but not so much that I will avoid golems, if they suit my army better.

Also, I will try to convice my girlfriend to use the Legion army. Is there anything that is auto-include that I should get, and is there anything I should avoid getting?

Oh, and should I get the normal rulebook, or is the one in two-player battle box fine?

Circle is my main opponent and at least in my experience Lord of the Feast is an excellent solo. He's capable of tearing almost a full unit of stormblades apart in one turn. Another mainstay of the circle is shifting stones. For the legion side I'd recommend the shepherd for fury management. Any other models that you might be interested should be on http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com/. They have usually have good info and they were really useful for me when I was starting my army a few months ago. The 2 player rulebook is fine unless you want the story as well. Rules-wise they're the same rulebook.

With the two-player battlebox, you should consider getting the Warpborn Alpha unit attachment, who will let your skinwalkers attack twice instead of once, and at least one unit of Shifting Stones plus the Stone Keeper (only one Stone Keeper, since you can only take one). The Shifting Stones have a lot of uses and are taken in nearly every Circle list.

The battlebox is what, 26 points total? So if you had 5 more points you could play a 25 point game. Two units of Shifting Stones (the maximum) and the one Stone Keeper would make that up.

From there... I don't know. You do want the alpha (and maybe you would want that at 25 anyway, though it's harder to fit if you want to take the whole battlebox). What sort of points level are you considering going to? Generally 35 is the smaller "real" game size and 50 is the standard size where the game really comes together.

-Shifting Stones x2
-Warpwolf Stalker
-Gorax
-Skinwalker Unit Attachment
-Another Caster

In no particular order. The Shifting Stones & Warpwolf Stalker and Gorax are basically the core, of the core of the core of a circle army. Seriously every single mainstream list is going to run at least one of those things, and most all three.

The Skinwalker UA is a big deal if you want to keep running the Skinwalkers but you could switch out them out for another unit without issue. Beyond that you'll want to get a 2nd caster, pKaya is a good caster to cut your teeth on but not the richest experience long term. Look around and see what you like. I personally think Kromac is more fun than a barrel full of monkeys, but whatever.

I 100% agree with Chongara. Most of the models he listed are must have models that will be used in 90% of the games you run beasts. I have a hard time not fielding 2 sets of Shifting stones every game. When I 1st started, I thought they were very good to allow my beasts to shift places to get some great kills. Now that I am much more experienced, I find them invaluable. The shifting is only a small part of how I use them. I use them to tie up things I dont want to/not ready to deal with. Its amazing how you can take one of your opponents heavies out of the game with 2 points worth of stones. They heal, deny charge lanes, block movement, ect. Learn to use them well as they are a big part of Circles game.

As far as the Lord of Feast goes. He is awesome, but I find it hard to fit him into games less than 50 points due to his high point cost. Usually he ends up as a suicide model, but he can easily make his points back if your opponent isnt careful about placement. Also if you attack something with him, it makes your opponent be forced to kill him or given another turn with him, he will really start to rack up the kills.
