Just how hard would it be change a Grey Knight Strike Squad to some Librarians? I know I can fill up the writing with some greenstuff/liquid greenstuff. Are the Storm Bolters easy to take off their wrists? Or can that entire arm be replaced with a normal marine arm? They prolly are the same mark right?

Plus has anyone have more ideas to make them more Libbylike?

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

IMO the DA Vets are better libbie conversion fodder with the robes and all. GKs can no doubt be made to work if that fits your vision better. Most of the arms in the GK kit stop at the wrist, and the kit comes with a staff and 3 halberds which should be easy to convert into more staffs, and there are plenty of swords. You can use other SM arms if that's easier, all the SM kits are highly compatible. Even if the mk is different, it's not uncommon for SMs to use bits of different armour marks iirc as they get repaired with what's available when necessary. The arms don't really define the marks either.

I do have those, but they are pretty full of iconography. And not the kind of robes I like for Librarians and quite a lot of DA iconography. I don't really mind the lack of robes. Plus the grey knights have the books on their armor. With some slicing and scraping most extra iconography can be taken off.

The arms of the GK kit sadly have the storm bolters stuck to their foreams.

The sprues here show a lot of arms as I described. 13 arms without storm bolters, 6 with. The shoulders and other bits with books do look good for libbies for sure. I didn't find much DA iconography on the torso/legs or heads of my DA vets, just one chest piece which I swapped out for a sang guard one (since I'm doing blood ravens, it fits well). You can easily use whatever shoulders and backpacks you want instead of the ones with DA stuff.

True to that. But DA do not have the Cap like things normal Librarians have and Grey knights do. I might try combining them. I still have the Vets laying around somewhere.
