Hey dakka I have a RTT this Saturday and wanted some feedback on list I am thinking of taking. The tournament organizer is trying to have a lower key event (with the hope of letting beginners dip their toe into competitive 40k without being eaten by the sharks) hence the lower point costs and he has banned forge world and limited army selections to the basic codexs, and there will be no allies. I've come up with a version of my MTO CSM. I'm still 50 points short and am open to advice on how to fill or any substitutions that might be made to complete the list. Here is what I have so far

Lord on a bike w/ PF, LC, MON, blight Granades

Daemon prince w/ black mace wings armor Tenztch

Troops

10 cultists

Fast attack

Heldrakes w/ bale flames
4 chaos spawn MON

So that leaves me 50 points to spare, what should I do another unit of cultists? Two mastery levels on the DP rolling on biomancy? I could drop a spawn and a unit of cultists for another Maulerfiend, lots of options, what does dakka think?

I see no reason to not have 5 spawn at all times.. the rest can fill out your culists. Maybe get some autoguns to help knock down flyers.
