"Faith is the soul of any army; be it vested in primitive religion or enlightened truth. It makes even the least soldier mighty, the craven is remade worthy and through its balm any hardship may be endured. Faith ennobles all of the worlds the soldier undertakes be they so base or vile, and imports to them the golden spark of transcendent purpose."

Since I figure the sniper squad is designed to stay back and hold an objective, it's definitely worthwhile to find 10pts in there to give them Camo Cloaks. It definitely adds to their staying power. Otherwise looks like fun!

I always wanted to run a Terminator list. If I every played Space marines I would try and find an Apoc game and run 4000 points of terminators.

Command squads were FAQ'd to take special weapons. A terminator librarian with psychic shriek in a drop pod with a command squad with 4 plasma guns and apothecary is absolutely brutal against damn near anything with a pulse.

There are a number of technical problems with your list.

You have 4 HQs. If you went with a double FOC (which you can at this point level) that’s fine, but would then require a total of 4 troops. You only have 2.

Terminator squads get one heavy weapon per 5 guys. So the first squad with both the CML and the AsC needs to drop one.

From a thematic POV, this list looks fun. It’s a very all-in style. When it works, it should work fine. But if you run across someone who can deal with 3 LRRs and has a decent amount of AP2 firepower, you are going to die badly.

In any objective based game (5/6th of the basic missions) you are going to have a very hard time winning.

The power armor captain and his command squad seem out of place.

Nevelon beat me to all the basic roster stuff.

I actually brought a Deathwing army to the Vancouver GT about a decade ago. I won 1/5 games, but it was fun.

I'd actually recommend replacing the librarians with something more suited to HtH combat. Biomancy has some good stuff in it, but with psychic powers being random, and 2 attacks, 2 wounds and S4, something is going to challenge the Librarian and eat him for lunch very quickly.

I would recommend you drop the marines in power armor/rhino; split the force into two parts: scouts with sniper rifles and terminators in land raiders.

Against armies with high model counts (which present the most problems for terminators) scouts may very well pin a large squad of troops at just the right time....

Then again this is just supposed to be for fun, so I probably took the analysis too far..... buuut seeing as I already typed it, I'll just shut up now.

Hi great idea for a list, I usually run 10 terms at 1500 points and rock with it.

I would suggest having a full squad of 10 terms with assault cannon and cml, I put them with tigurius to get reroll to hit. I would then go with a separate squad of cc terminators, 4 LC and 3 TH SS with either a term chaplin or cassius. They then buff you in CC better. Stick them in a LRC to whiz around the board.

To both beef the list and get it legal I agree with Nevelon. Drop all the power armor and Rhinos. Next get 4 squads of snipers.

Next if you are going to cruise around in the LRR ( I think the Crusader is a better choice) swap everyone to a mix of dual LC and TH/SS. If your in an armored box the guns are wasted point upgrade.

Now after pulling the extra hvy weapon off the first Termie squad, swapping all the PA and rhinos for Scouts, you have enough points left a 5 man shooting Termie squad you can deep strike in. I suggest the Assault cannon over the Cyclonic launcher for this. Though if you feel the need for some S8 ranged firepower it can be a good choice.
