* This was 200pts Cygnar (Haley1 + Nemo1 + Siege + Caine1) vs Menoth (Severius1 + Vindictus + Reclaimer1 + Kreoss3)
* Timed turns 60 minutes each. You don't need the unbound rules, period, if you are experienced players. We didn't struggle with the time, and got the game done satisfactorily within about 8 hours, including an hour lunch break.
* Scenario was used for the potential tie-breaker situation arising, but wasn't required in the end.

We made certain agreements about which casters to take or not to take. In my opinion, Haley1 and Siege are the best large-points Cygnar choices. For Menoth, Severius1 and Harbinger. We both wanted to include some less obvious picks as well for this game, so Haley1 and Harbinger stayed at home and we got to see the likes of Nemo1 and Vindictus instead. True Path is fantastic, as is Nemo's feat against large Menoth Battlegroups and especially when Siege feats during the same turn.

Game turned out to be quite a tough one. Cygnar was pulling ahead in terms of the mid-game attrition, but chose not to put any casters at risk when assassination opportunities presented themselves... the game sped up after the more powerful feat turns had taken their course. Then it turned to all-out, desperate carnage...

Great battle report! I've done unbound at 150, but never standard with anything this big. Well done!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!
