Not sure if this is in the right place.

I'm not sure how i would go about painting wood elves. I like the green look they have on the boxes, but i would want to do something that's more unique then coping GW for wood elves My favorite color is purple so i would like to get purple scheme idea, but i dont knwo for sure if thats what i want. I will be using GW paints so if you cold tell me how you paint your wood elves that would be great! and if you have picture thats even better.

A rather deep purple color for cloth looks quite nice. Sadly I lost the wood elf I had that I painted that way when I moved.... It was just a basic archer, with the major cloth bits purple, the leather pieces dark brown, and the alternate pieces of cloth black. Best thing you can do is try it out and see what works for you. If you don't want to paint one of your models just in case you mess up, you could grab a bones mini or something and use it as a test piece. Or an extra few bits from your unit box just to see how the colors you want look together.
