As the title says, I left "warhammer'ing" a long time ago (I'd say a good 8 years ago). I am a Space Wolf fiend, I love the lore, the bones and the viking-ness about them. Maybe I was a viking in a pervious life time??
I can only hope so.
Anyway, I moved out of the
UK and am now living near toronto for work reasons and am starting my collection again at a slow pace. Because most of my time has been browsing this incredible forum at this present time.
I found I didn't enjoy the game of
40K so much as I found it a lot like chess. Sadly I have the concentration span of a gnat when it comes to that style of gameplay.
However..I LOVE the modelling side of it. And this is where I can really focus my concentration. I'll see if I can get my brother to take some pictures of my
UK collection and I'll post them up (I'll update this or start a build thread when I get the pictures).
I started to experiment with different characters and combing other elements of
40K into my Space Wolves. Such as an Eldar (I forget the name now) as an assassin character, Grey knight terminators as a personal guard etc.. all of which heavily tweaked with green stuff to fit in nicely with the Space Wolves.
Well...I say heavily tweaked, more like as much as I could do at that age. Haters may hate but I will mentally block you all from existence!! Since I do not play the game, anything (almost) goes in my 'playbook'.
I am so happy to back on the
40K band wagon. Creativity at it's best! Got tons of ideas to try idea, including a Scratchbuilt Space Wolf titan!! I have no idea how it would fit into the lore but it's something I'd love to try
Hello to all!!
