New Joinee here, been into
40K since I was a kid (1980s), but only really got into it in 2001 as an Eldar player.
Lost interest in 2006, but came back strong in 2010 when I split an Assault on Black Reach game with a buddy and took the Orks contingent.
Since then, it's only grown. Slowly, but each acquisition must be painted before I move to the next. My current work is finishing up 12 lootas, 12 burnas and 3 more koptas from a gifted
AoBR set.
Total current points probably around 1900.
I went Orks because of the fun factor. I was never really a good player, but I love the plain old fun color schemes you can get with Orks. Mine are pastel, but mostly blue (I work for a company thats color is blue, don't shoot me!).
I'm gaining interest in doing kustom work, I have to date the following I've managed to konvert or kustomize (or scratch build): 2 Grot tanks, Kannon, Painboy. I LOVE magnetizing, and my only Battlewagon can be set up with any option in the codex.
I have a side set of Eldar, mix and match. Eventually, I'll have to work on them at some point.
Sadly, I live abroad in a country where there's not even a single
GW store, let alone a hobby following (India). I'm sad, because I really don't have anyone to play with. Trying to build interest here, but its quite tough.

40K somewhat (yay)! Glad to join. Been reading / looking at Dakka for over a year. Finally took the step and signed up!

P.S. My army is run by NailBrian. NailBrain was a normal boy with dreamz of a shiny new shoota until one day a mishap at a blood angels munitions depot left a large Nail / Bolt in his brain
. Somehow, this fortunate event unleashed a section of his brain deeply knowledgeable in Mek subject matter
. Within days, he began building things. He continues to build, and now essentially runs a horde.
