I was recently commissioned to paint a display board for a chaos warrior army I have been working on for a client. My client asked me to paint a mural featuring all four chaos gods. I thought dakka would enjoy a glimpse of this undertaking as it came together.

The whole project took about a week and a half and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Very nice, the drawing/painting is excellent, although im not sure I like the representation of khorne.. Not satanic looking enough for me. Are the models going around the outside?

My original idea for Khorne was more of a traditional devil but my client wanted something resembling a flaming wolf face. I think it stands out from the others more than a humaniod face would. Yep the army will be packed onto the borders around the illustration with special characters on the pillars.
