A list I came up with to incorporate my favorite chapter of SM. I wanted to incorporate Centurions into my list which is what this mainly focuses on. Here is what I came up with: 2000 points: Inquisition: Warlord HQ: Ordo Malleus Inquisitor, Terminator Armor, Psyker, Hammer, Psycannon 110 Grey Knights: HQ: Mordrak with Ghost Knights, 3 Halberds, 2 Hammers 400 Troops: 5 GKSS, Psycannon, Psybolt 130 5 GKSS, Psycannon, Psybolt 130 Fast Attack: 10 GK Interceptor, 2 psycannons, psybolt 300 Heavy Support: 1 Nemesis DK, Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter, Nemesis Greatsword 260 1 Dreadnought, 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt 135 Imperial Fist: HQ: Librarian, Psyker Level 2 90 Troop: 10 Tactical Marines, Melta, Combi-Melta in Drop Pod 195 Heavy Support: 3 Centurions with Grav Cannons and Grav Amp 250 Comes out to 1,999. Another way someone put it me was also to take a squad of scouts with LSS to save on some points but I don't know where I would put the extra points besides making the Librarian a level 2 Psyker and him and the Inquisitor will already be apart of the Centurion group to help support them. I also thought of taking just 5 sniper scouts with camo cloaks, sadly taking away the greatsword from the DK and then taking another Psyfleman Dreadnought. Any thoughts or is this a pretty solid list? Edit: I moved the Inquisitor to is own section to show that he is coming from the Inquisition Codex and not the GK Codex. Split the GKSS to get the 2 Troop requirement, it was the cheapest fix for the problem. Took the Terminator armor and storm shield off of the Librarian and bumped up his Psyker level then gave the Melta and Multi-Melta back to the Tactical Squad.

You are missing another troop for GK.

I can't believe I over sighted that. I usually take a squad of Terminators that would take care of the second slot. I am also used to combat squading the GKSS so I am used to thinking of them as two units anyway. There are a couple of things I could do here. I could take out the Ghost Knights and put actual Terminators in their place and just have Mordrak be apart of that unit. He still has Ghostly Bodyguard which means if he is wounded, a ghost knight has the possibility of still showing up. I could also split the GKSS squad into 2 5 man groups but take the penalty of having to pay for psybolt ammunition twice which means I would take away the melta and the combi-melta from the Imperial Fist Tactical Marines. I don't know what I actually should do now. Thank you for catching that.

Grey Knights aren't battle brothers with Space Marines (unless you're using Red Hunters and are taking an Inquisitor in the GO force so you can fit into their rules) so you can't attach the inquisitor to the Centurions. Luckily, you can take him out of the Inquisition Codex, which can do this, you just have to make sure the points line up (I don't know if they do?)

I do use the Inquisitor out of the Inquisitorial Codex because he is my warlord and I use the Warlord traits out of the Inquisitorial Codex, I just place him under the GK list to keep it nice and neat. The points are still the same no matter which Codex you are using. They literally just copy and pasted the rules out of the GK codex and said "Look! Now everyone can have an Inquisitor". Automatically Appended Next Post: Made the edits needed in order to come in with compliance. I hate loosing the Ghost Knights but they are just regular terminators anyway so it isn't that big of a lose.

Mordrak isn't an IC, so he can't join the termies. Even worse, without a ghost knight he's a single model, so IC's can't join him either.
You could lower the Tact marines down to 5, drop psybolt on termies, then take some ghost knights and a special weapon on your tact squad. Automatically Appended Next Post: additionally, termy libby... might just take regular power armor, and use lookout sir for the AP3+ wounds.

Another oversight, dang it. This is just kind of making me want to split the GKSS into two 5 man groups and pay for the psybolt separately putting the Ghost Knights back with Mordrak. I could also drop the Terminator armor off the Libby which frees up 50 points because he can't take the storm shield out of terminator armor. Doing that allows me to put the melta and combi-melta back on the tactical marines and upgrade the Libby to Psyker level 2 giving me more rolls on the tables.

Cents really suffer from being out of range. There's enough plasma/melta/grav/rending spam out these days that walking Cents are sure to die, unless it's the crazy Centurion Death Star that has a great invuln and a Eternal Shield tanking.
Your Cents really want a Land Raider. You don't have the points for it, but don't expect them to do a whole lot as they waddle across the field, into a crossfire of Plasma and Ion madness.

Ideally that is the purpose of then. I want to give them a choice, do they kill the units bearing down on them or the Centurions that will rip them apart with their range weaponry. It's a bit of a sacrifice I know but I need a big enough distraction to get my GK into melee.

After getting some advice on grav cannons and how to best use the Imperial Fist chapter tactics, I re-worked my list to look like this: 2000 points: Inquisition: Warlord HQ: Inquisitor Coteaz 100 Grey Knights: HQ: Mordrak with Ghost Knights, 3 Halberds, 2 Hammers 400 Troops: 5 GKSS, Psycannon, Psybolt 130 5 GKSS, Psycannon, Psybolt 130 Fast Attack: 10 GK Interceptor, 2 psycannons, psybolt 300 Heavy Support: 1 Nemesis DK, Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter 235 1 Dreadnought, 2 TL Autocannons, Psybolt 135 Imperial Fist: HQ: Librarian, Psyker Level 2 90 Troop: 10 Tactical Marines, Melta, Combi-Melta in Drop Pod 195 Heavy Support: 3 Devastator Centurions with TL Lascannons and Missile Launcher 280 The concept is still the same. Coteaz and the Librarian will go with the Centurions to support them. Coteaz will allow me to take two rolls on the Divination table. I made the changes to the Centurions because it allows them to have distance and no constantly slogging around trying to be in range. I debating what Discipline the Librarian should take between Pyromancy and Telepathy to best protect the Devastator Centurions. With changing the weapons of the Centurions, it gives me the ability to fully use the Tank Hunter special rule that being Imperial Fist gives them as well
