My idea was to use the Veterans in their chimers along with the Sentinels and Leman Russ' to move up and clear objectives, then use these as aggressive units to go around destroying the enemy while more the static infantry squads site in cover an hold the objective supported by the company command squad, special weapon squad, heavy weapons team and platoon command squad.
Any feedback for this idea/list?

You dont need a priest in with the vets. Put him with the platoon and drop the commissar altogether.
A battle tank will be snap firing the lascannon, so its a waste of points as well.
You have way too much fluff in the command squad. they are either going to be ignored or wiped out before any of the gear is of use.
I would cinsider making your SWS flamers and if you want to keep the GL put them in your platoons.
Everyone is going to tell you a demolisher is useless nowadays. I disagree people, are still afraid of them.

My logic behind the SWS was a cheap scoring unit I can put on and hopefully be ignored throughout most of the game while stilling being able to do some decent shooting.
If I drop the Deathmask of Ollanius and the priest, I'm down to 1435 points, what should I spend the free room on? More infantry, two scout sentinels, Autocannon heavy weapon squad, another chimera?

How about I upgrade the SWS to a veteran Squad with 3x grenade launchers, and autocannon and carapace armor?

That is always a viable option. but again if they are going to camp an objective snipers and camo gear make them cheaper and increase their range.
