So I'm going entering a tournament in June with a few restrictions on units:

-Only 1 flyer allowed/list
-Only 1 vehicle allowed with an armor total over 36 points (F+S+R)
-HQ cannot exceed 200 points
-Other non-HQ units cannot exceed 300 points

So I have a Crimson Fists army I've been playing for some time, but I also recently purchased a Tau army as well and am wondering what improvements I could make to either proposed list...

Crimson Fists (I still have 17 points in this list and not sure where to spend them)
HQ:
Librarian (Mastery Level 2, Melta Bombs, Power Armor, Force Sword) 95

Sternguard Vets (8 Vets+Sgt, 3 Combi-Meltas (1 with SGT), 2 Combi-Plasmas, Melta Bombs on Sgt, Drop Pod) 298 (Libby would go with these guys)

So any suggestions which list would be the better one to go with? Any improvements I can make on them? Like I said, I am new to Tau so I'm not even sure if the list I build is good or not.

Ok so I don't know much about sm but I know about tau atleast I think. if your going to put the command noid on the commander then also do the multi-spectrum suite and puretide engram neuro-chip and get rid of everything else, with your suits keep them all the same weapon and stick the commander there, all with plasma rifles is mean. also if you can try and get one more broadside with that unit or add some missle drones, the hammerhead is good, but I would play a skyray with sms I think it handles a bit better and is cheaper point wise. also either find points for one more pathfinder and make two squads of 5 or just drop it to two squads of 4
