Hey guys I am looking for a guide or a bit of help on how to paint the necron power effect, you know that dark green going to bright


I should say I can do it with red or blue but I hardly ever use green so abit of help would be greatly appreciated

Im a bit confused if you can do it with one colour then you can do it with any, just start with your midtone green paint the area that colour then mix up a light shade (add a bright yellow) and a dark shade (add a deep blue) and wet blend them together, you can then work upto white if it doesn't pop enough for your tastes, you may wish to wash the whole area with a green glaze after to create a more uniform effect.

I would try starting with your dark green and blending it into a yellow and then adding the green glaze. you could try using white but I think the yellow would be more vibrant. The glaze is also a great way to get the uniform look like Zognob said.

Green isn't a colour I paint very often so I was just looking for abit of help on how to start it off.

Oh and I literally havnt painted anything for about 7-8 months lol
