I'm usually pretty good at choosing names, though it is often the last part to click in. My Lunar is sort of a People's Champion archetype. Prior to Exaltation, he helped lead a revolt against the Realm. His totem is an Elephant. Originally I had loosely based him off Ganesha, and had thought to call him Changer of Ways as a result, but I think that sounds clunky. I also have decided to play him a bit more aggressively than originally thought. He is very large, carries an Artifact Grand Goremaul (very large two-handed warhammer), is a blacksmith. His main 'virtue' is Valor. He's the one that stands up for those that can't stand up for themselves, mostly a happy, mellow guy. Hates to see regular citizens abused, and taken advantage of by those in power (like a bit happier version of Zach de la Rocha), in addition to the destruction of nature. That's about all I can think that might help. I just can't think of a name for this guy.

The only other name I ever came up with was Smiling Mountain, but that's pretty lame I think. Can you guys help?

Smiling Mountain sounds like a perfect fit to me.

But if you want something a little different, maybe something like Great Bear? I guess you're looking for something more imposing, or do you want to go the opposite way? Maybe with a descriptor such as "little" or "tiny". Little Mountain, or Little Mouse?

I like the idea of putting a little irony in, as he has a joking nature. I'd like to keep it more focused on the freedom-fighter kind of bit.

Perhaps "Little Tiger"? Irony mixed with a ferocious beast.

I really like the proverb "Better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand as a lamb". I think it fits him pretty well, and could easily be turned into a title/name, except his totem is an elephant. He also has the power to turn into one, or into a 'wereelephant' war form. Think Elephantaur from God of War. Any other animal in his name would be odd I think. Another thing to consider I suppose, is that this name is often shortened to just one word.

So far, in consideration in no particular order:

Changer of Ways (maybe it's not so bad, and is a title of Ganesha, his concern for mortals is also odd for Exalts, more change?)

Smiling Mountain (you've made me re-visit the possible metaphors, a peaceful, defending sentinel standing firm against the abrasive elements of oppression. I won't do, I won't do what you tell me.)

Sunders/Renders(-ing, -er of,) Chains

Thunder of the Brave, Fists of a Thousand - or steal my most favorite Lunar name ever; World Striding Storm.

Those are pretty good! Taking bits and pieces of those, maybe Hammer of the Many, Storm of the Many, representing his unrelenting fury against oppressors of the worker! World Striding Storm is definitely epic enough for Exalted.

Thought of another: The Rising Tide. Any thoughts?
